Part II of our family road trip to Cornwall! This time we headed down to St Ives, where we dug probably the biggest and deepest hole on the beach that day, before making our way down to the scenic tidal island known as Saint Michael’s mount and then finishing our sight seeing with Land’s End, Britain’s most south-westerly point. All in all we had quite the adventurous trip! The family and I had a great time over the several days we spent in Cornwall and we hope you enjoyed watching!
I’ve seen people excel in a field or a skill and have the potential to start a business, but they hold back from taking that step. All you need to do is prepare for the challenges, taking that first step in getting your business idea off the ground.
I chatted with London based property developer and investor about the state of the property market and how he got started in property. We also covered how he juggles business and family life and how to he regulates his mental and physical health.
Can you run a successful business and be a successful parent? YES!
If you have a business idea you’re passionate about, it’s time to make it happen. There’s never a perfect time to take the leap (especially as a parent), but with the right preparation, insight, and time commitment, you can build something you’re proud of, fit it around your children’s schedule, and still be there for the important milestones.
This is your guide to becoming and being a successful Parent Entrepreneur – a business owner that values their family life just as much as their enterprises. Terry Chiu has started, run, and invested in businesses for over 10 years. He’s also no stranger to the school run, nappy changes, and screaming tantrums in the middle of the supermarket.
The Parent Entrepreneur will show you how to balance family and business life, manage your time and money, test your business, market it to the right people in the right places, and get stuff done around kids. All supported and illustrated by Terry’s own experiences, hard times and good times.
If you’re a parent with a great business idea, or an existing business owner with kids on the way, this book will help you succeed at both.
